6th CentEast Market Warsaw, October 15 - 17, 2010
CentEast organisers accept submissions of both documentaries and features for theatrical release as:
1. works-in-progress: films in advanced shooting period and in post-production; the existence of visual material is essential!
2. films before world premiere: completed films not presented at any film event before,
coming from the following countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine.
Projects applying for CentEast Warsaw-Moscow 2010 must also meet the following requirements:
1. they must not be presented during any other film festival or market
before (apart from co-production events and national film festivals),
2. the material for selection purposes must be delivered on time along
with all the requested documents,
3. the screening material for the final presentation must not exceed 5
minutes and should be delivered on time on DigiBeta PAL and Betacam SP
PAL. NO DVD SCREENINGS!
The selection criteria:
1. artistic quality of the project,
2. reputation of the Filmmakers,
3. international market potential,
4. existence of the visual material - at least one minute of film.
The selected project will be presented during two industry events:
- CentEast Warsaw Market, organised during the 26th Warsaw Film Festival,
- CentEast Moscow - Projects for Tomorrow , organised during the 4th 2morrow IFF.
The selected projects should be presented by film's representative in person, preferably by producer or director. The organisers cover the cost of flight and accommodation of one representative per project to one of the events mentioned above.
