The films selected for the CentEast presentation were in majority at the stage of advanced shooting period or early postproduction. Almost one year later, in July 2010, some of them are already completed, and first results of CentEast's promotion are visible.
- The Polish title, ALL THAT I LOVE, was picked up by WIDE Management and is still in the international festival circuit, having started its' 2010 itinerary at the Sundance IFF and Rotterdam IFF in Europe.
- The Romanian documentary, METROBRANDING (presented within CentEast 2009 as 6 OBJECTS OF DESIRE) was selected by the Planete Doc Review International Film Festival in Poland and then Visions du réel 2010 in Nyon, Switzerland.
- Another Polish film, MOTHER THERESA OF CATS has just premiered in the main competition at Karlovy Vary IFF, where two main actors, Mateusz Kościukiewicz and Filip Garbacz, shared Best Actor honors for their performances.
- Also Romanian OUTBOUND (presented at CentEast 2009 as OUTSKIRTS) was picked up by MK2 and will have its world premiere at the International Competition in Locarno, August 4-14, 2010.
- Bulgarian TILT (still in postproduction) was picked up by the German sales company m-appeal.
- The Russian thriller PHOBOS was released in Russia in March 2010 and then subsequently in Estonia and Germany.
